She first meets Hayate when he gets lost on the huge Hakuou campus and invites him to the top of the clocktower, where only student council elites are allowed. She allows Hayate to call her by her first name and also seems to be infatuated by Hayate and his attractive personality.
Hinagiku is sometimes referred to as being rather masculine for a girl by other characters in the series. Miki suggests this is because Hinagiku is seen as being "cooler" than the boys, and the fact that she was rather domineering at a younger age. Her athleticism, competitiveness, and leadership position all also probably contribute to this view. Despite having such strong traits, Hinagiku is actually terrified of heights.
Cursed with illness and frailty since birth, Sora was denied the sort of independent life that many take for granted. Yet beneath Sora's angelic doll-like appearance lies a troublesome personality that’s prone to withdrawn laziness and demonstrates a rather severe lack of social graces. In all honesty, Sora doesn't care for anyone else, and would much rather just surf the Internet and eat instant food, for as long as Haruka is always by her side. It's implied that her strong bond with Haruka, strengthened as a result of the tragic loss of their parents, may be leading her towards fantasies of incest between twins. She hates Nao, although it is implied that they were once good friends. She is often seen carrying a rabbit doll, which she received as a present before she and Haruka left the village.
Yuri possesses the characteristics of a charismatic leader, as her determination and her ability to stay calm even in difficult situations always gives her the respect of the rest of the SSS. She is also very intelligent and able to understand situations and make snap decisions. However, she can be random at times, as she once involved newly-recruited Otonashi in a conference on whether the name of their club is to be changed. Occasionally, she lets out a large haughty, ojou-sama-esque laugh whenever events go her way. Yusa once comments she sounds like a villain.
Also, she is not afraid to make necessary sacrifices, usually involving her subordinates' deaths since she is fully aware that they will recover from being "dead". Despite this, she feels responsible for the lives of her subordinates and is badly affected by their loss.When it became obvious that a situation has arisen where death (or conditions similar to death) is permanent, she assumed the burden of fighting alone and attempted to ensure everyone else is safe even if she knows that it was pretty much suicide.
She is the head of his school club and is violent to Taro due to her superiority complex. She is a self-proclaimed deity. She also has ailurophobia. There is an implication that she has feelings for Taro (as a result of his kindness towards her, plus the fact that he treats her just as he does everybody else), although she does not admit to them. An episode suggested she is jealous when another girl makes advances towards Taro as in the case of her being more violent towards him when Noa gave him a mound of lilacs. She is an extreme tsundere, and repeatedly attacks Taro, in an (unsuccessful) attempt to cure his masochism. She seems to be unaware of the fact that she has developed an attachment towards Taro, nor the fact that she has unconsciously developed feelings towards him, and constantly denies these facts whenever Arashiko has pointed it out. Her first kiss was with Taro.
